Humpty Dumpty had a great fall

trying to be a good doobee(shades of Romper Room for those of you who remember Mr. Doobee). Roger spilled something on the floor and missed a spot. Being a good doobee I grapped a paper towel and bent over to wipe it up. The next thing I knew was splayed on the kitchen floor having hit my shoulder and head on our baker's rack on the way down. The longer the day went, the more I hurt. Today I regret I didn't get the license plate number of the humongo semi that obviously ran over me. Forget sending over the Kings horses and Kings men...this Humpty Dumpty is broken. They say Day 2 after a fall is the worst...by gosh, I can't wait to get up in the morning!

In other news, the Iowa caucus is today. I live with very politically-minded people so I'm sure there will be smiles and tears as the winner comes forth not to mention people glued to the TV. It's Leftover Night so they can dig and nuke at their own pace. Lots of yummy leftovers to choose from.

From the gasps and screams in my living room last night I take it David Letterman has grown a moustache and beard during his hiatus. I was in bed when they woke me up, and most importantly, they woke Shania up. A dachshund does not take kindly to being woken up.

The coffee is calling my name loud and clear and since I can't convince Shania to be my Coffee Girl(as if!) I'm heading for the coffee. Take care and do something nice for yourself today. You are SO worth it!

Take care of yourself!! And injuries like that DO hurt way more the next day...

Sit in your recliner and don't move. :-)

Hi there Ness! Thanks for stopping by my place the other day!

If you want a map thingie, just click on the link and you can create a walking map for any zip code/neighboorhood. It is free and online - not a program you have to download, which is nice.

Have a great day and feel better from your fall!

Oh - I hope you are alright! Right now I have this bump on the back of my head - a pretty large egg shaped bump that hurts to the touch - that I have no idea how I got! We need to just sit on a couch somewhere and stop walking around altogether - don't we. Take care and you take it easy. Kellan

I hope you feel better. I am so sore from shoveling and it did hurt more the next day. Relax and enjoy your coffee!
