A Picture is About a Thousand Words

more than I had yesterday when this arrived!

This beautiful candle is from Hallie's Mom/CJ's Grammie. She sent the sweetest note with it saying she had heard that I had been burning a lot of candles for her family lately so with CJ's dreaded September deploying coming up, she wanted to send me something to help me get ready.

It holds a place of honor in the middle of my "Military Shrine" on top of our TV cabinet.

I am going to dub it the CJ Candle and when he leaves on his deployment it will stay lit from morning until bedtime until that A1C gets back on US soil.

I am truly blessed by the gift but the pleasure and honor has been all mine to keep the candle burning for CJ, Fenway and the rest of the Twomey family.

Thank you so much CJ's Grammie and Hallisicle's Mom.

You are one sweet lady and you and your family will remain in my prayers.

That is about the sweetest thing I've seen in awhile.

How many spoons have you got today Ness? Doing okay?

Catty Ax Lady, thanks for asking about the spoon count. Despite having to spend 1 spoon on the stupid insurance company who can't seem to approve my physical therapy, I used 1 spoon to put on ham and beans in the crock pot and I have 3 spoons left so the dachsies and I are gonna hit the recliner and do some serious spoon hatching and quilting. Kiereney sent me the Celtic symbols she wants on her quilt and I decided to incorporate her name and date of birth into it so I need to spoon hatch/incubate to get some spoons in reserve to get this quilt done and do a quilt or crochet a blanket for BCA(Baby Catty Ax). How are you and BCA doing? Think we'll get the winter storm they're predicting?

Tell Shania and Macon thanks for coming by. Roxie says you are her friends! Think about her tonight when Mom cuts off the water and treats. The poor girl won't get any breakfast in the morning!

Ness,

Love the candle, and with a Mom/Grandma lie that it is easy to see why Hallie and CJ and the rest of the family is so great.

My favorite quote is from Chuck S. on Attitude. "I believe that attitude is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it."

Ness, I have to say, as a military wife, it blesses my heart to know that there are people like you in this world. You are an amazing woman. You deserve to feel nothing but love and joy at all times. Many, many, MANY, blessing to you friend!

Ness,
It looks great in it's place of honor.

My mom really hoped you'd like it! You didn't talk about the bomb scare though. :)

I KNOW I sound like a man - glad you agree - I wish I could tape my voice and add it to my blog.

It's almost 3pm and I still feel horrible. Really crappy. Just showered which made me fee like a ran a marathon. I am exhausted - back to bed for me for awhile.

Glad you are more full of spoons than usual.

Nah, Hallie, they already think I'm certifiably nuts---no sense in giving them info to confirm it! lol

Girl, I think you need someone to take you on a short ride in the car. It always helps me to get out in the air and it makes me tired so I sleep good.
