OK, It's Time for Fall!

Besides the 90+ temps and humidity, the tornado sirens went off 4 times in 2 hours Friday afternoon and I got so tired going up and down 3 flights of steps to the basement. We've decided the landlord needs to put a couple of couches, a fridge and a big screen TV in the basement so the apartment dwellers can be in comfort while we wait to be blown away to Kansas...

Kelli got a call from her temp agency on Friday and she starts to work Monday for a company about 3 miles from her home. They do medical billing, recon work, and everything she has done at her past jobs. They told her this could go from temp to perm. I am so happy for her! Plus the company has offices all over the States so she could transfer when the call to go back to California hits her.
She is going back home this afternoon so think I will curl up with a book and rest. I should work on the quilt, but I need some balance and diversity. I'll probably pick back up on the quilt this coming week. 4 rows down(40 squares embroidered) and 8 rows to go.

Get outside today and commune with nature and become one with the Universe. Just breathe.

I know how you feel about the tornado sirens. We were in Walmart when the sirens started going off, so they made us get to the middle of the store. Lasted forever. Now Walmart is not where I want to die!! LOL..
I can't go out and enjoy nature. It's raining again!!!
Rest and have a great weekend!!
Oh and I am so happy about Kelli!!!

God Bless~

Good Sunday morning, my friend. I hope you're having a great weekend. I've finally had a few spare moments to breathe, and I needed to stop by and tell you how much your phone message the other day meant to me! Thank you for being such a good friend...it's nice to know there are people who understand...that's what makes my world go 'round. I just want you to know that, in the midst of all the busy-ness of what we call life, there is someone in MN who ALWAYS appreciates you.

Hope you're having a great weekend with your girl and your Mr. Roger :)!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. :)

I have been a fan of yours and reading for a while.

More than that, though, thanks for your encouragement. I know that the seasons in life are temporary, but sometimes my days are all a blur and I need to step back to be able to focus. :)

Thanks again!
