She spent most of Wednesday in the ER near her home having CTs of her head(the headache is back) and abdomen and blood work and chest x-ray. Nothing is accounting for the fever that hangs in there at 103. She is in a holding pattern at the moment, continuing to take the Levaquin(she has one more day of it) and returns to her GP on Friday.
Every family has its ugly moments and my poor KJ was the victim of one such moment yesterday. Please keep her in your prayers. It's bad enough when your body is failing you only to have your heart broken on top of it and your faith shaken to its core.
I'm laying low, trying to deal with each day as my own body has declared mutiny on me. I'm blessed that Roger's love keeps me together. We go this morning to meet his new cardiologist and hope this will be a relationship of good medicine and trust. I have experienced and have heard of so many inept physicians lately who treat their patients like dirt that I go into this experience today with fear and trepidation.
Have a beautiful Thursday. T minus 25 days until my soldier boy leaves for Ft. Sill, OK.
48

Today is your birthday.
If you were here we'd be celebrating 48. Instead you are eternally 30. So
much has changed in the 18 years you have been gone.
