Wordful Wednesday

My favorite Catholic hymn is the one I first heard my 12 year old daughter play at her first Childrens Mass at her school. On Eagles Wings If you click on the link, the words are featured on a beautiful background and you can hear the song.

The song has seen me through a lot of faith journeys.

Yesterday I clung to those words as:

Kiereney's neuro office called in the afternoon and said in addition to the $75 for her visit(which I have) there was a charge for $100 for reading her EEG in the hospital in September(which I never received a statement on nor knew that her neuro office read the EEG at the hospital and it was the partner and not our neuro) and it had to be paid before she could be seen...

The bank socked me with $140 overdrawn fee that I still cannot figure out how they did it but they are *always* right...

My husband came home from the grocery store with our turkey in the midst of the above two things and an hour later I heard him take a call giving his side of the wreck he had going to the store that he hadn't had the chance to tell me about yet...

And then Kiereney brings me my phone and Michael was on the other end telling me that he passed the test and although not having slept since 3 a.m. on Monday he was OK.

God held me in the palm of His hand and paved the way to resolve the problem so Kiereney could be seen tomorrow, Roger nor the other person was injured and I have food to eat tonight. Today's needs have been met and I am at peace.

Never underestimate the importance of having peace whether it be in God or another Higher Power.

May you have the peace that passes all understanding.

There have been days when I, too, wondererd how I could possibly make it all work. The bills were higher than the paycheck and I was running on low-steam. But God has never forsaken me - nor will he forsake you. Of course you know that, Ness. A day at a time. He will see you through all of this. Extra prayers today.

What a challenging day. Continue to take each day as they come, know that you're not alone and that you will make it through.

I'll be praying, because on days like today, it's really all we can do.
