Thursday Wrap

First of all, Ness goofed bigtime. Yesterday's blog post is actually a song played at the Catholic Church during Ash Wednesday mass when we go up to receive our ashes and I forgot to notate that on the blog so it looked like a poem. The name of the song is "Ashes". I wanted to find the tune of it but who knew that Playlist wouldn't have a Catholic song about Ash Wednesday on it...I dearly love that song.

Today is my Friday as I am off on Friday and Saturday so that's why I call it Thursday Wrap as in wrap of my week.

Kelli is doing phenomenally well at her new job to the point that they have asked her to work overtime Friday and Saturday morning to close the payroll books out for the month. They are blown away with her keystrokes per hour. She is keying in the old fashioned time cards with codes notating what kind of work was performed and the amount of time it took to do it. She does over 1400 cards a day.

Katie is doing better and getting more into a routine. Grandpa and I split the day shift and evening shift and Grandpa gets her to sleep when I go to bed and puts her in the playpen in our room. She's getting better about sleeping for longer stretches although if she wakes up, he gets up with her. I get up with her about 5 and the day begins anew. Today I got Kelli off to work, the other two dachsies settled, left Roger and Katie asleep in the bedroom ans I started work. They just now got up, I fed Katie and have her laying on a cushion next to me although she has just revolted so I'm typing this one-handed now.

I don't know if any of you remember Cade and Carter, my BFF's nephews she got temp custody in 2008(go back to my Feb 2008 blogs for details) Anyway she is having to sign them back over to the unfit parents and it is ripping our hearts out. I'm trusting God to watch over these boys and my BFF who could never have children and these boys are her world. I'm going down to see her Saturday to help her cry as noone should ever have to cry alone.
Have a phenomenal weekend and do something for yourself that you've been wanting to do for a while and tell me what it was on Monday. Love you all-mean it!

Love you, too, Ness. I'm so glad you're going to be with Kathy; you're a very good BFF because sometimes that is just what is needed...someone just to be there for you and to understand.
