Thursday Wrap/Oklahoma Here We Come!!!

I thought a red, white and blue patriotic bow would be appropriate for this Thursday's Wrap...
I think everyone is in various stages of recovery of various types of URI illnesses around here. Kiereney's postop visit got cancelled on Wednesday(after we got there) because the Dr. had a surgery to do(imagine!) so she goes on Tuesday while her brother is graduating from Officer Training.
Kelli has only been off work a week so we're hoping next week they are able to find her a job as nice as the one she had. She's also toying with going back and getting her RN...
We pick up the rental car on Saturday morning and I think we're leaving towards Oklahoma shortly thereafter. We're not to arrive at Ft. Sill/Lawton until Sunday afternoon but we may meander our way there. I hope to meet up with one of my childhood friends(and family cellphone vet) for supper Saturday night. If not, I'm sure we can find ways to just waltz across Missouri to Oklahoma.
I wanted a new patriotic(red, white or blue) outfit for the graduation and thought I had found it until my husband thought I either looked like Scarlett OHara or the Harper Valley PTA mom(I don't see the similarities at all!) so I got a black and turquoise dress and jewelry and it will do. At least the earrings are in the shape of stars! The camera is going and I hope to get a lot of pics of our journey. We do intend on seeing the memorial in Oklahoma City and I want to find Bailie's chair(the little girl the fireman carried out that was shown all over the media) and leave her a flower or something. That picture will stay with me forever.
We will return on the 29th and the Lt. won't be in until May 1. 'nuff said about that!
Have a fun filled, phenomenal weekend and keep us in your prayers for traveling mercies. The girls are staying behind with the granddogs in the apartment so you might want to keep them in your prayers as well for if I come back and the apartment is a mess, they will definitely need your prayers!

Ness,

Have a safe trip. You will be able to see Baileys chair but not up close. There are ropes to keep people from actually touching the chairs. There is a fence tht people leave things on. It is amazing to walk along that fence and see all of the notes and items that people have left. The museum is amazing. Give yourself plenty of time to take it all in. (Take some tissues too). Take pictures to share with us when you return. Hugs
