My heart is full today

from you and the nation taking the time to care about NIU and its tragic loss. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Today finds me getting some housekeeping out of the way and then the dachsies and I are going to take up residence in the faithful recliner and work on the quilt. Well, I'll work on the quilt---they're there to provide snuggles and comfort as I still try to make sense out of the tragedies of this world.

Our Valentine Day evening was wonderful. The Lil Smokies wrapped with bacon and brown sugar, the steak quesedias and the French Chocolate Silk pie and the fact that we could do it without the hustling/bustling a restaurant experience would produce made it a moment to remember.

Everyone get to Wonderful World of Wieners tomorrow and wish Hallie the happiest of birthdays!

Glad to hear you and your doxies will be relaxing in the recliner. Don't do too much quilting - remember what the doctor said!!

And btw, I suspect your birthday candles would WAY outshine mine! (you're no spring chicken you know!) :)

Take care of yourself!

Hallie

Have a wonderful day quilting and cuddling your puppies.

It sounds like the perfect day to me!

Your dinners sounds good as well. I'm glad you got to spend time with your hubs without all the background restaurant noise!

I'll never make sense of things that happen in our world. Sometimes they are just not comprehenisble...

Ness, I think you need a bigger recliner. 'Cuz I had the same thought as someone else, that I wanted to climb up in that recliner and snuggle too. Not 'cuz I'm sick or anything, just 'cuz I'm a big baby that way.
