Santa's Blog + Blog Elves

= Santa's Elves...right?

Notice the above elves aren't the usual ones we have come to associate with Christmas, but the above elves are beautiful...just like the mysterious blog friends I received a card from today.

The card was a beautiful Hallmark card that played "I Will Survive" and when I opened it, I found a Visa Gift Card and an AT&T phone card!

The card was signed Blog Elves

The return address was Santa's Blog and it was from Elf, a city somewhere in the United States since it did not have air mail postage on it.

Elves are known to be very wise and do mysterious things to help people out.

The Santa's Elves who sent the card are wise beyond their wildest imagination, for today I found a family doctor who would see Kiereney, who has no insurance, on Monday for the continuous headaches, etc. provided that payment for the visit is made at the time of the visit. Kiereney does not have a job and Kelli will be without one this week. Michael has yet to receive his first paycheck and this is the time of the month that all our bills come due. To top it off, Kiereney called me in tears because she received a bill from the hospital for $30,000. She applied for funding from the hospital's benevolent fund and we're praying that they will be able to help with her expenses.

I was quoted a charge between $60 and $150 for her visit and since she is a new patient with an extensive problem, I know after being in medical billing for years that it will be closer to the $150 mark.

Who can deny their child medical care?

So I made the appointment for her today not knowing how this was going to be paid but knowing that I would find a way.

And then I picked up our mail today on the way to the basement utility room to put the wash in the dryer.

I opened the mail while in the utility room and it's a good thing I had a washer and dryer to lean on when I opened the card from Santa's Elves because I couldn't believe what I was seeing and needed the support.

I don't know who you are, but God does and I respect your anonyminity.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and know that since I saw a picture of Santa kneeling at the manger of the Baby Jesus I have always suspected that Santa and God worked together.

I just didn't know that Santa had a blog.

You were right...I will survive with the love of blog friends.

God bless you all.

I have found that God always provides for us. Sometimes he uses his angels here on earth. And I suspect you have been one of those angels many times, Ness.

Ness, I am so glad that the elves were working a little overtime...I think you have really had your plate full with challenges, and it's nice even to know you're not ever alone. Good job, elves...

And you were kind enough to do what you did for me and The Boys at dinner. You're a good egg, Ness, you and Roger, and deserve this and so many other miracles!!

Hi Ness,

I was offline for a couple of days, so I wanted to pop in to say hello. I will have to go back and read, but it sounds like things have been rough. I am so glad to know that there are people out there who stepped in to help you! You are such an angel who deserves to be treated like one.

Hugs and love,
Debbie
