This morning, live from Williamsville, NY, is my favorite 11 year old grandson by the name of Connor. He has graciously offered to do an interview for my readers(and going ahead and buying the tickets for WALL-E on Fandango just now certainly wasn't a bribe or anything...)
Me: Connor, welcome to my blog---the one you didn't know I had. How are you?
Connor: I am fine. I am very excited to do everything that we're going to do in the next five days.
Me: Are you glad school is out?
Connor: Am I? It's a really big relief to not do school work all of the time and just relax and have fun during the summer.
Me: So, tell my readers...what is the current book you are reading?
Connor: Well, I am reading Eragon by Christopher Paolini. This book is about a poor young farm boy who discovers a dragon egg. There are already 2 books out and the 3rd one will be out September 20th!
Me: So, besides reading, what else are you looking forward to doing this summer?
Connor: I am going to be going to Cedar Point(Editor's note: Connor saved his money to be able to go to Cedar Point) which is a GIANT amusement park with a lot of roller coasters and I suggest you go there. I am also going to be hanging out with my cousins(there are 5 Campbell cousins and 5 LoTempio cousins). And also we will be going to Canada to stay at the family cottage which is on a lake. You have to leave your car and travel to the cottage by boat.
Me: That sounds phenomenal! Anything else you would like to tell my readers?
Connor: I'm very interested in hockey(he supports the Buffalo Sabres) and this year I am playing baseball. I have also read all of the Harry Potter books and I will be going into 6th grade this year. I am a good student and made all A's for this past year. I am also a BIG PIXAR fan and I know the names of all the PIXAR directors.
Me: Grandpa and I are very proud of Connor and all that he has accomplished and we're very fortunate to be able to come up to Buffalo and spend time with him and his brother, Kyle.
But gotta go...we have a date at Tim Horton's and if you don't know what Tim Horton's is, Google it.
Have a phenomenal day!
