Kimberly Got Me!

Thank you Kimberly D for this award. I don't take these lightly. Now to continue with the rules of the award and answer the questions.

1. Do you have the same friends since childhood?

I still keep in touch with Carol who lived across the street from me and we went through school together. She is a vet and we see each other once a year when she brings her mom up to the cemetary to visit with Carol's twin, Chuck.

I met Kathy at chuch when I was 18 and we've been through thick and thin every since.

2. What do you value most about your friends?

Keeping it real. They don't patronize me. They are my true mirror.

3. Are your friends your sounding boards?

My best friend and husband is my primo sounding board. He is a good listener and always helps me work my way through the latest in my life. Kathy and I always pick up the phone and hash over "the latest in our lives". I've been blessed to have blog friends come into my life that are always a phone call away(Hallie, Kimberly, Laura, Steph among a few) that have been so supportive and helpful.

4. What is your favorite activity to share with your friends?

Being together and talking, whether it be in person, by phone or computer.

I was a unit secretary (they call them HUCS here) for many years. It was the best job I've ever had and the most fun ;)
