Maybe it WAS the full moon...

I don't know if it was the full moon Kimberly D was telling me about or that all the OCD escaped my body in the five large tubes of blood they drained from me yesterday, but yesterday was a better day and I know it was the love and support of my blog buddies here that made it that way.

I didn't work on the quilt yesterday(had the intentions to when I got back from the cancer center but I was dizzier than all get out so I stayed in my recliner) but today is a new day. After work is done, I'm going to whip that sucker together! And then watch DWTS and Law and Order SVU(I hear my beloved Elliott is taking a bullet tonight and he needs me).

Kathy reminded me yesterday that NEXT THURSDAY is Thanksgiving. I thought I had another week. Michael called Sunday and said to buy the turkey because he put in his request form for his pass here for Thanksgiving. You will notice there is no excitement behind that remark because, after all, this IS the military and if it can be screwed up, it will be. All I know is that if it doesn't get approved(apparently the Army Regulations words that were quoted about no leave more than 8 hours away went out the window when another guy drove here 30 minutes from my apartment over Veterans Day weekend...) somebody in Military Land will get the 2nd turkey I bought put in a spot that only a colonoscope shoud go... I am cautiously optimistic he will be here...

Please continue to keep him in your prayers that he aces this land nav test and keep my KJ in your prayers as tomorrow we do battle with the neurologist.

Have a wonderful Tuesday!

Note to Hallie: I DO have my Christmas song Playlist ready but will not post it here until the day AFTER Thanksgiving because I am an OCD traditionalist who says no to decking the halls before plucking the turkey. lol

You get points for readiness my friend. And I will just sing extra FOR YOU until then. I am singing at this very moment!!

Glad you had a better day. Wish I was closer to give you a hand. How much fun would that be???

And I'd MAKE you sing with me!

Ness,

Well you know that I have you Christmas header and layout ready to go as well. so my dear you are all ready for Christmas here in blog land.

I wish I was a ready, I'm still not sure what I'm going to do for myself over at my place in cyberspace. Nothing has made me say "that's it" yet like my Thanksgiving one did.

Hi - Just wanted to say thank you for the warm welcome to blogland. I've actually been reading your blog for a long time (usually only a lurker). I'm astounded at how upbeat you are, considering how many challenges are thrown your way.

You and I have a lot in common, including favorite TV shows and the firm belief that Christmas season begins AFTER Thanksgiving.

I solemnly swear I will NEVER have anything like a Morbid Monday post. I love Hallie to death, but she knows I can't take those photos!

"an OCD traditionalist who says no to decking the halls before plucking the turkey." I love it! Thank you, Ness. I'm glad that someone is sticking to their guns. It seems that Christmas is being advertised earlier and earlier each year. I hate the commercialization.

Thanks again...

Helen
