"This is the beginning of a new day. You have been given this day to use as you will. You can waste it or use it for good. What you do today is important because you are exchanging a day of your life for it. When tomorrow comes, this day will be gone forever; in its place is something that you have left behind...let it be something good."
I woke up with this quote on my mind.
I always feel like my two days off of work(Friday and Saturday) are a gift and I should make the best use of them.
So far today:
I've been on the phone in pursuit of help for Kiereney starting back at Square One with her neurosurgeon.
I had a lovely chat with Mama Alice of Georgia rejoicing in the miracle of life.
Cuddle with my Katie and although she's not having a good day(barfing is an issue) she is here with us.
And checked on all my blog friends to see if there were any fires to put out or hugs that were needed before I got back to you tonight.
Now I'm going to:
Go down and do laundry in my utility room and put away Christmas stuff.
Figure out how to stretch $45 until the 28th.
Take a walk.
And plan Saturday which will include working on the quilt. I have got to get it finished as I have other things I want to do and each day is so precious I have to make sure to get all 24 hours out of it.
Enjoy your day and be kind to yourself. Embrace Life.
