Everything Old Is New Again

And being torn apart by the jaws of defeat was where I was at.

Breaking up is hard to do and so is giving up, especially under the Protestant Work Ethic I was raised.

The time has come that I can no longer work a 4 hour shift because of the toil it's taking on my body.

My angel of a supervisor suggested before I throw the towel in on my transcription career that I try a split shift.

So I'm now working from 7-9 a.m. and 4-6 p.m.

Yesterday was the first day of the new schedule and it went very well.

But there are glitches and this morning I'm finding out that I have no work to do.

So while waiting on work I am being proactive/time efficient or whatever and posting to my blog to say good morning to all of my friends here.

In a bit of sad news, Michael will not be able to see Carter and Kyle before he deploys.  Their grandparents are being ogres and make my OCD look like child's play.  They haven't seen each other in 6 months and the grandparents simply refuse to see the signs in the boys that they miss Michael, they miss us and they are not happy.  It's in God's Hands.

I found the paper to print my quotes on for my room but it is considered light cardstock and I don't know if I can put it through my Canon printer.  Any thoughts?

Time to check for work.

Believe....even when it seems impossible.

Love you all~mean it!

Ness,

My Mom has a Cannon Printer and we both have run HEAVY card stock thought it all the time. You should be fine as long as you don't overload the paper feeder (that will cause it to jam). I wouldn't put in anymore than 15 to 20 sheets at a time.

I hope the split shift works better for you and all works out. Keeping you and your family in my prayers always. Hugs!

I hope the split shift works better for you. With some resting time in between it just might be what you need right now.

BTW..I am 15minutes from Ft. Lewis (or Joint Base as it is called now)! Will you be coming to see M off? I would love to see you/get together if possible! I couldn't find your email so get in touch with me if you have a chance.

I've also used cardstock in the Cannon and like Steph says..don't overload. Hope it works out for you, I would love to see how this project works out...take care.
