Thursday Wrap

Don't I wish my hands looked that pretty?
KJ is getting stronger every day although klutzier as she keeps stumbling into things and of COURSE she hit her back incision on something in the middle of the night last night. Fortunately I was in the Land of Ambien so Roger dealt with it and there was minor bleeding. I'm either wrapping her in bubble wrap or placing her in a bubble like on the TV commercial...the headaches come and go which is an improvement and as the healing and inflammation of the surgery around the shunt goes away, I look for the headaches to go away as well. But I won't be fooled again...last time we had 2 weeks of pain free-ness before the headaches came back with a vengeance so...
Kelli is experiencing the quirkiness of working for Dr. Jekyl/Mr. Hyde supervisors...all I could do was share my experiences and give her the advice she asked for. Hopefully all will be well.
The Lt. will be in my airspace in TWENTY FOUR MORE DAYS!!!!!! Roger and I are driving to Ft. Sill on the 26th, checking out the Oklahoma bombing memorial and Toby Keith's bar(I LOVE Toby Keith so I'm going to see it but I'm not a drinker. Hopefully I will score a t-shirt to add to my wardrobe and MAYBE Toby Keith's bar has a spinner spoon!) You can bet I will be checking along the way for spinner spoons. The Lt. graduates on 28 April and we will leave the next day. He will wrap up the apartment in OK and drive home on the 30th for my birthday. We'll keep him for a week, depending on when his transfer goes through to Virginia and then he will be off to Virginia to start life anew with a good job(hopefully), an apartment and pursuing his Masters Degree at University of Virginia depending on when Uncle Sam wants him in Afghanistan. But I'm not dwelling on the A word.
Tomorrow when Kelli gets off work, Roger and I are going to Kathy's for the weekend and see Cade and Carter. The camera is going as well so expect new pics on Monday. Kathy and I have only talked long enough the past month to exchange hospital updates between Roger, Kiereney and her brother who had stent placements this past week after an episode of chest pain. We are planning to sneak away from the males on Saturday morning, have breakfast and go looking in the antique stores. We're real good lookers, just not so much on spending. Just being together is enough for us. We're taking Cade and Carter to Extreme Sports Saturday afternoon and watch them play on all the blow up slides and scale walls and act like monkeys.
I'm excited to be going!
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. Get out and do something in the out of doors. Alice, keep rockin' that Baby Austin, Laura safe travels and call me when you get here, Hallie keep ridin' the Ambien and Katie, smack them balls, babe and win-win-WIN! I'm gonna stop there as if I name all my blog friends I will miss going to Kathy's tomorrow night. You all know you're loved and appreciated and I mean that!

Ahhh, what a relief that things at Casa Campbell have gotten on a more even keel! You certainly deserve a weekend away, to just take a deep breath and relax! Have fun and share the photographic evidence with us when you get back.

I can't wait to see pics from the weekend. Have a good time. You sure deserve it after the past few months. Glad things are looking up. My daughter is taking me to Arkansas this weekend for a week so I can meet Brice! I am so excited!! I will be traveling in a mini van with 3 adults and 3 children. Sound fun? Yes, but I will need some of those spoons...LOL. You have fun, I will have fun, and life is going to be better for both of us Ness.

God Bless and Be safe!!!!
