56 and Flying High!

As much as I hate giving up being a speed limit(55) so far 56 has been a blast!

Pre-birthday prep was a haircut, a mani and a pedi and a new flag for my porch.

Today was breakfast in bed courtesy of my youngest, a homemade cake from my son and my eldest is chairing a birthday surprise that I am not privy to.

I've spent the day in my bedroom watching TV, being on the computer and snuggling with Colin.

Tonight we are meeting with friends so they can say goodbye to Michael before he deploys 20 May.

My BFF Kathy sent me a Chihuahua hook for my purse for my keys.  Now I just need a Kathy purse to go with it!  Yes, I am delirious!

My wonderful husband is my rock, my best friend and treats me like a princess every day but today I feel like Anne Hathaway in The Princess Diary.

Thank you all for making this birthday phemonenal!

I cheated cancer out of one more birthday and my Bucket List is renewed for another year.  I want to meet the friends on the other side of the computer screen, the ones who have been there for me when I couldn't be for myself.  So I see Maine, California and Georgia in my future this year.

God has been very gracious to me and our family and I appreciate the opportunity to be free to worship without fear of repercussion.

I am the mother of 3 beautiful souls who are unique and wonderful and unlike their father, I will never take them for granted.

My fur kids and grand furkids bring me joy unspeakable and love that makes the fibro pain quiet down for a bit.  You can't outlove a furkid.

Thank you for sharing this day with me.

I am a grateful woman.

 I continue to believe.

Love you all.

Mean it.

Ness, I feel very happy inside after reading that. And I am looking forward to our sea glass hunt together.

Love you, too!
